Community
Eastern North Carolina provides the warm hospitality and charm of southern living. The mild-four season climate, the affordable cost of living, a thriving prosperous business community, and a wide variety of cultural as well as recreational opportunities contribute to a comfortable lifestyle and a great place to call home.
We enjoy the sound of freedom and are proud of the military presence in our area. Havelock is home to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point. We welcome our military personnel and their families. We are also within 45 miles of Marine Corps Air Station New River and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville.
New Bern offers historic charm, a gracious lifestyle, and abundant natural beauty. Established in 1710, New Bern is the second oldest town in NC and was also its first capital. Located at the confluence of two rivers, the Neuse and the Trent, New Bern and other area residents enjoy many water sport activities. Boaters have easy access from the harbor marinas to the Intra Coastal Waterway, the Pamlico Sound, and the Atlantic Ocean. Homes range from custom-built homes in our golfing and waterfront communities, magnificent colonial style homes in the downtown historic district, or comfortable family homes for people of all ages.
Oriental, the sailing capital of NC, is located in Pamlico County. Its harbor on the Neuse River is also on the path of the Intra Coastal Waterway. This quaint and unique village hosts sailboat racing, tarpon tournaments, and a wide variety of water activities including canoeing and kayaking. Fishermen continue to leave this harbor daily to bring in fresh catches for the area seafood industry.
Being located on the Atlantic Flyway, Pamlico County is refuge to many species of birds, such as pelicans, terns, ducks, herons, geese, loons and other shore and waterfowl. Forest land wildlife includes deer, bear, fox, bobcats, beaver, otter, and many others as well.
Homes may range from a condo on the waterfront in the village, a spectacular waterfront home along the ICW, or a quiet and beautiful residence in the country.
Our area meets a wide and unique variety of real estate needs, from military to job relocation to just a quiet retirement on the river.
Whatever your real estate needs, we can help.
